We have the largest selection of guns, ammo, and accessories, a first-class training team, and state-of-the-art gunsmithing facilities, and we boast some of the most recognized and talented gunsmiths in the nation. We also have a large selection in our e-commerce store that we can ship anywhere in the United States.
Our Story
From a basement storefront to Colorado's largest gun store and range company — here's how DCF Guns got started.
Founded as Straight Shooters, originally located in the basement of a strip mall off Wilcox. We started with just holsters, then moved into guns.
Added the unit above our basement space and opened our retail store in July.
Opened our new building and range in November, laying the foundation for what would grow into DCF Guns.

We have over $6 million in inventory and 5 ranges across our current 3 locations. Our original location in Castle Rock, Colorado, has been a staple in the south Denver community for over 12 years, and we expanded our family of locations in 2022 by adding 2 new locations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our future expansion plans include North Denver, the western slope, and neighboring states such as Texas, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Oklahoma.
Our Long-Term Vision and Support for the Second Amendment
Our long-term goal is to become the largest gun store, range, and training facilities organization in the United States while we advocate for and stand up in support of gun rights for all Americans. We support the Second Amendment and our U.S. Constitution and believe that gun ownership is a right we should all exercise responsibly. This is why we built an environment that allows us to meet our DCF family where they are.
State-of-the-Art Training and Facilities
Our Colorado Springs West location has a 100-yard range, and we have 2 tactical training bays to allow scenario training and support. We also have competition shooting teams and events monthly. We have a VR training platform for those uncomfortable in the initial experience and one-on-one training before and after range times to allow those who might be intimidated or nervous with others shooting around them. Our goal is to make you feel at home and for us to make your experience a positive one.
Memberships and Community Support
Membership options include discounts for active or retired military personnel, first responders, and current or retired law enforcement. We have active blue line programs and discounts on all inventory, training, and gunsmithing for members.
