At this range, safety is everyone's responsibility.
Each shooter is expected to follow all safety procedures and actively maintain a safe environment for themselves and others.
Please review and follow the rules below every time you visit:
1. Treat Every Firearm with Respect
Never point your firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.
Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
Always be aware of your target and what lies beyond it.
2. Maintain Muzzle Discipline
All firearms must be pointed downrange at all times—during loading, unloading, dry fire, and live fire.
3. Call “Cease Fire” When Necessary
If you see an unsafe condition at any time, it is your responsibility to call “Cease Fire.”
Everyone must stop shooting immediately until the situation is resolved.
4. Inspect Your Equipment
Shooters must inspect both their firearm and ammunition before use to ensure they are safe and functional.
5. Handle Malfunctions Safely
If you experience a stoppage, perform the proper corrective action.
If you're unable to resolve the issue, raise your non-firing hand and request assistance.
6. Do Not Pass Loaded Pistols
Never pass a loaded (Condition One) pistol to another shooter.
Firearms may only be handled by others if necessary to clear a malfunction or address a safety concern.
7. Be Alert for Squib Loads
If you hear an unusual sound or feel reduced recoil, stop shooting immediately.
Raise your non-firing hand and seek help to check the firearm.
8. Use Proper Safety Gear
Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times when shooting is in progress.
9. Respect the Firing Line
No one is permitted to move forward of the firing line.
10. Clear Firearms Before Leaving the Line
Before leaving the firing line, ensure your firearm is unloaded, holstered (or otherwise safe).
11. Follow All Safety Procedures
Any violation of safety protocols may result in immediate removal from the range.
